Here's how we raise the money:

Below is a list of fundraisers that will fund the above mentioned programs and positions.

  • Sally Foster Gift Wrap Sales - selling gift wrap and other items to friends and family (September) Financial Goal: $10,000

  • Bookies Night - evening access to the The Bookies bookstore (November 28, 2006) Financial Goal: $2,000

  • The 2008 Steele Stallion Silent and Live Auction (February 9, 2008) Financial Goal: $60,000

  • The Steele House Tour - a tour of 5 Washington Park homes (Mid May) Financial Goal: $28,000

  • Academic Development Fund - an annual campaign at Steele where parents, grandparents, friends and corporations can make tax-deductible contributions to our school. (Ongoing) Financial Goals: A LOT!

 

Other school activities that raise money for our school, but are community-based fun family events include:

  • The Steele Fall Carnival - a fun old-fashioned carnival (October 14, 2007)

  • Rapids Nights - fun evenings, with your family, watching the Colorado Rapids play. (Fall, during the Rapid's season)

  • Nike 5 Mile Run - (Spring)

 

You can also contribute to Steele by:

  • Collecting Box Tops for Education and turning them into the office

  • Shopping at Office Depot and telling the cashier to contribute a 5% to Steele

  • Shopping at Target and using a Target credit card. With every dollar you spend, a % will go back to Steele

  • Ordering Entertainment Books online and designating Steele to receive a profit
