Dear Steele Families,

Welcome to the 2009-2010 school year.  The PTA Executive Committee would like to reach out to the entire PTA membership and thank them for all your work in past and look forward to working with you in the future.  Our children’s success is at the core of each and every one of our endeavors and we believe we have succeeded in providing a fantastic environment for everyone.

For new and returning families alike, we would like to introduce you to some of the great things that the Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is doing for Steele Elementary.  The Steele PTA funds many activities and events that make our school scholastically and socially unique. We are committed to giving the school community the funds it needs so that our kids have the best education possible. In response to our school’s financial needs, our goals are lofty.

All of the fundraising at Steele is designed to foster a sense of community at our school. We ask families to participate in as many fundraising programs as possible. The programs this year are primarily focused around your children and family and are designed to be fun. We also feel it is just as important that our parents meet and enjoy each other so we have some special nights out just for adults.

We know that you are as committed to Steele Elementary as we are and will help to make all of the programs successful. Our school is a worthy cause.

On this website, you will find a list of the programs, activities, and events that the PTA funds or sponsors.

The PTA meets on the second Tuesday from September to May in the auditorium at 6:00 pm. After the meetings, we usually gather at the Handle Bar and Grill to socialize.

Our meetings occur the 2nd Tuesday of each month from 6:00 – 7:30 pm.
